Lazarenko Halyna Mykolayivna – candidate of medical sciences, orthopedic and trauma surgeon of the highest category, member of the Department for Foot Pathology and Complex Prosthetic Treatment of the SI “The Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics by NAMSU”

In 1991, she graduated from O.O. Bogomolets Kyiv National Medical University with a degree in Pediatrics. From 1991 to 1992, she passed her internship in trauma care and orthopedics in premises of traumatology and orthopedics department at P.L. Shupik Kyiv Post-Graduation Medical Institute (Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital).
After the internship, since 1992, she has been working at the SI “The Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics by NAMS of Ukraine”. First, she was a junior scientific researcher at Stump and Complex Prosthetic Treatment Department, later – orthopedic and trauma surgeon at the Department for Foot Pathology and Complex Prosthetic Treatment.

In 2006, she represented her Ph.D. research «Diagnostic and Treatment of Foot Macrodactylia».

Lazarenko H.M. is a co-author of over 50 scientific publications. Her priorities are reconstructive foot surgery in children with congenital defects of growth: macrodactyly, ectrodactyly, polydactyly, syndactyly; in multiplanar foot deformities; orthopedic treatment of diabetes mellitus patients; treatment of musculoskeletal traumas and their consequences.
